The AFF (Accelerated Freefall), that is the accelerated course of free falling, is the most effective and the fastest way to learn about the ins and outs of skydiving and parachute riding.
The course consists of two parts: theoretical and practical. During the first one, a student learns about the jump procedure, the position of the body during the freefall, how to manoeuvre the parachute as well as what to do if the emergency takes place. Apart from the traditional lectures the theoretical instruction lasts during the whole course. When the course becomes more advanced a student analyses every jump with an instructor, he/she gets the information how to correct the mistakes (if there are any) and how to avoid them during the next jump./ skoki spadochronowe / A student also learns how to communicate with an instructor during the falling.
The practical part consists of the exercises with the harness done on the ground, on the plane as well as the jumps./skoki spadochronowe/ All the parachute jumps are done from 4000m. First three jumps are done in the presence of two instructors and the rest ones with one instructor. Depending on the progress made by a student the course comes to an end after 7 - 10 jumps.
The course finishes with the exam during which the student has to demonstrate all the skills he/she has acquired.
A student-parachutist is equipped with a square parachute as well as an automatic device which, in case the man fails, will open the spare canopy. He/she also receives a flying suit, a helmet, glasses, an altimeter and a radio which enables an instructor to contact with a student during the parachute ride.

You have to be 18 in order to start a course. Sixteen-year-olds need parental permission (if the parents cannot be with you at the beginning of the course you have to have the notarial act which will confirm their consent).
